Adams Manufacturing Celebrates 40th Anniversary Milestone

Company’s Commitment to Product Innovation Has Helped Fuel Adams’ Dramatic Rise as North America’s Largest Manufacturer of Outdoor Resin Furniture.
PORTERSVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA, May 4, 2016 – Set against the backdrop of one of the largest home improvement gatherings in the world, Adams Manufacturing will be officially kicking off their 40th Anniversary Celebration at the 2016 National Hardware Show®. The exhibition is being held May 4-6, 2016, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Taking a page from the “American Dream”, the company’s humble beginnings trace back to 1976, when Founder Bill Adams started selling suction cups to small hardware stores out of the back of his Chevy Chevette. Using a small family inheritance, Adams Manufacturing has gone on to become a multi-million dollar manufacturer of injection-molded consumer products, employing nearly 300 associates. With global distribution, Adams’ innovative products can be found at prominent mass merchant and hardware retailers such as Ace Hardware, Amazon.com, The Home Depot, Lowe’s, Target and Walmart, just to name a few.
In addition to celebrating their 40th Anniversary, Adams will also use the 2016 National Hardware Show® to promote their new Big Easy™ line of oversized resin furniture—including their award-winning stacking rocking chair, a supersized version of their flagship Adirondack with built-in swivel cup holder, and other oversized resin furniture designed to accommodate larger body frames. Adams will also be introducing Lil’ Easy™, a kid-sized version of their top-selling stacking rocker.
