William Adams says his suction cups will stick stubbornly to just about any clean, smooth surface, including his bald head. As the president of Adams Manufacturing Co., which makes 50 million suction cups a year, Adams has tested the devices on many kinds of surfaces. He’s not alone. At trade shows, Adams says he has observed other bald people fulfilling “a deep-seated desire” by slapping a suction cups on their heads....
