Consumer Protection Safety Improvement Act of 2008

The Consumer Protection Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA) was signed into law on August 14, 2008. A provision of this Act requires manufacturers of certain children’s products to provide a Certificate of Compliance with those products that are manufactured on or after November 12, 2008. This web site will be maintained as our method of providing these certificates to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, our customers and all other interested parties.
The certificates provided on this site cover three regulated products made by Adams Manufacturing; our Kids Table, Kids Low Back Chair and Kids Adirondack Chair. Certificates are prepared using the color and the production month and year imprinted under the seat. The sample at the left indicates month 12 of year 08 (December 2008).
